Well I opened up the cracks with a little burr @2ml taped the wood with aluminium tape leaving the cracks exposed attacked it with the blowlamp tape started to move a bit but the surface was going to char long before the inside of crack was so now I think I might give a pyrography tool a go to burn the cracks does that sound like a plan that would work
