Table saw mitre gage

Can any of the members tell me please if there know were I can buy a table saw miter gage with a 5/8”wide x 1/4” deep slot I have bought a table saw but it did not have a miter gage with it I sent away for a new miter gage but when it came today did not fit i though there were all the same like a fool I am

why not just get a piece of mild steel 5/8 by1/4 or 16mm by 6mm and change the slide over ? I did and it works fine

M machine in darlington sell it by the foot or300 mm length.

It is not too difficult to make a sled for a table saw for angled cuts. Here’s one I made for my Kity 419 which has slots either side of the blade. When in use I simply screw the angled fence to what ever position I need. I do not pretend this is accurate without fettling but the angle cuts are repeatable, fine for my needs.
