I still have to order 8x4 boards, and 1/4" supplies in metal!
I can visualise the basic imperial measurements better, but the school kids must work in MM only!

Neil our eldest was the last year of five yrs high school became 6 yrs the next yr and the last of the imperial system and into full metric she just turned 59 yrs but the father took a long time to change my Dad was even worse being born in 1906.
I think the Americans are still debating something about the fifth.
