You have my sympathy with the pictures Bob, tried all sorts with black pens..:sob:

Well the pictures are good enough to show the colour, shape and looks, but I bet it feels and looks so much better in the hand.

I have done a few pens before, took pictures and thought how crap they look in the photo.:goesred:

It looks a great pen, I have had some Ceylon ebony that my dad brought around 20 years ago, think it might be dried out now:goesred: so once sorted the cave out it will have to go between the points.. :wink:

Hi, Eamonn,

Our Lord Woody gave me my piece of ebony a couple of years ago, and I had this thought back then. Ceylon is now Sri Lanka, and has been since about 1978. Did the source name of the wood change accordingly? If so then my pen and your piece of ebony are already well on their way to a ripe old age, Lol!
