I came across a piece of 1" Tufnol the other day and thought, mmmmmmmmm, I wonder.....
Anyway, here is the result with just a micromesh and metal polish finish.

It is diffrent also I hope you wore a mask when you turned it as I have heard it really not nice the dust but I might be wrong

You're right Alex, definitely need to wear a mask, even when turning, because of the dust. And boy, does it stink!

That is a nice pen and finish. I used Tufnol on one of the last pens I made, just never got round to photographing it, I will try this week.

Well i have never heard of Tufnol before now, it sure does make a stunning Pen Dave, thanks for sharing.. :winking:

It is a resin and fibre based material and it is very strong i got some from the paddles from a machine used in the manufacture of plasyer board.
