Dave it looked familiar to me ex sparky hung up my license this week after60 yrs I prefer it to bamboo by a wide margin like the footy team telegram at a wedding I have tried bamboo in all its configurations and the only thing made from it I loved was the natural pen box recently that reminded me of Netsuke (look up Susan Wraith Netsuke) on google.

what I find quite irresistable is the even repitition like Woodies brick pen its special. Would I like 200 of them never but its one more arrow in the quiver.

I have used plenty of it as insulators in the past but never thick enough for pens and not for a good while.
I worked in a breakers for some time and looked out for it then but still not thick enough.
I think its a lovely pen with great effect.
