I don't live in a dusty area Chas but it is static that is picking it up. I forgot to wipe the glass with an anti static cloth before taking the photo.
The lights in my light tent are picking it up. I'll put it down to a learning curve !!!!:thinks:

I had that when I tried photographing a stereo system I was selling :rolling:
Every time I cleaned the dust off, by the time I got back to the camera there was more dust on it :rant:
Very annoying :vangry::vangry:

You should have the healing brush on Elements Terry. Put your mouse over the tools on the left hand side and the tool name show up. use the healing tool to get rid of the dust by simply hovering over the dust mark and clicking on it. Hey presto its gone.

What you've done there is outstanding by the way, pure class.

In all honesty Chas I never saw dust on the glass when I was taking the photo and my aging laptop is not showing it but I have no doubt it is there so it is definitely a case of wipe before taking photos. Thanks for bringing my attention to it !!!:sob:

When you take a photo you should always blow it up to 100% on screen that way you can see the defects.
