Finished the lorry today made from tulip wood and mahogany. This is just a toy for a young great grandson so it was a decision as to whether to make the body tip so I decided to have it fixed when he is a little older then I can make one with some working parts.
I have used chestnut products spray acrylic finishes as that is the best way with so many internal corners.

That is fantastic m8 he will love it have t made one of them in years when I was making it everyone told me he won’t play with that they like all the gadgets boy oh boy did they all get a shock all his gadgets were left in a pile and all he played with was his truck in fact about 12 years on he still has it on a shelf in his bedroom

Thank you guys.

And yes have to agree Woody the old toys are still used, as batteries run out and the buttons don't work as they should but wooden toys just keep going. I have made a few as you know and the Children still have them some are now just displayed items.
