Thanks Peter & Stephen,
I have now found that i have photoshop that can adjust the settings for me.
I have learn't a lot from you both.
My photos will now be much more professional looking.

I think these are an improvement

I think so too although the second one could do with a little more adjustment. Having said that the photos are better balanced than most here so I am only nit picking trying to make them as perfect as possible, you are not far off.
