Brother Pete I always check "The Wood Database" web site at Wood Allergies and Toxicity | The Wood Database it is an excellent source of toxic wood knowledge. I even save the web page to my computer so I don't have to search for it when I have a question. However, Tulipwood is not listed unless it is known by another name.
