twist mechanism problems

When I assembled the pens at the weekend I checked each mechanism before fitting and every one was stiff. A very small squirt of PTFE sprayed down the centre solved the problem instantly so unless anyone can give a reason not to do so, I'll treat each one before fitting in future.
