I been looking for the bamboo chopping boards but all I find is those highly coloured soft plastic things...:sob::sob:

Hi Phil, thanks for the comment and I'll see if I can sort out some drawings and do a tutorial although I'm not an expert by any means. Oh why didn't I take photos?

A couple of fine pens there Dave great patterns, is the bamboo made up of thin slices?
I have a couple of bamboo chopping boards, damn things are hollow with just a thin layer of bamboo.
Dunno if I fancy slicing and joining em but if that's how they come out it could be worth the effort.

Hi Grump,

The board I got from B&M is solid so they were obviously stripped and joined at manufacture so nothing for me to do except cut and turn as it were.

We have a B&M locally but finding the time to get in there is the problem till the end of the month when this contract finishes.
I was hoping to get into Aldi too but no chance as yet init?
