A piece of the Teak used to deck the Pier after the fire. I just hope nobody falls through the gap.

Another lovely pen Paul! What a missed opportunity when York Minster caught fire, I bet there were hundreds of unmade pens thrown out when it was rebuilt ! Could this be the next competition? Who can make a pen out of the most famous landmark !?

Lainey,
I believe there was someone got a pile of wood from the Minster and made pens. I think he also sold some of the wood.
I can't remember his name but he popped up regularly on the WoodWorkers Institute.

I believe they still sell them in the minster, Jane went round it when we visited York recently and she said there were some pens like mine for sale.
