Only a first go to test the water so to speak. Paduak. A lovely looking timber but I hate turning the stuff. Good fun though as I've wanted to make one of these for ages. :thumbs:

Very nice indeed. Nice shape and like the texturing on the foot.



I was asking the wife just yesterday if we still had any glasses as we use to have loads when Esso did one of their promotions. I was thinking if I could cut the foot and some of the stem off and make something like yours

I wish I'd thought of that a week or so ago: I broke a wine glass (one of the Mrs' favourites too) and just threw the bl**dy thing away :sob:
