Jim, I might be interested in swapping some punky wood for some resin. When you're ready, let me know if you'd be interested.

If cactus juice is a typical methacrylic cross linking resin, then it may be very similar to the impregnation resins used in sealing porosity in metal castings in e.g. The automotive industry. May be worth someone's while to try getting a sample? Something like Ultraseal 504 (ultraseal.co.uk) may be worth a shot. Usually sold by the ton, but they.might sell small amounts.

I just bought some Cactus Juice from Craft Supplies in the USA. Paid $160 including shipping by Fedex. Took 5 days and it was delivered this morning and with no Customs or handling fees.

Surely it would be cheaper, easier and quicker to buy good wood in the first instance.
I no understand your logic.

I would not ever want to see artificial pressure applied to send someone to the bankruptsy court for a litre of stabilizing fluid. Every deal I get involved in has to be fair for two parties Imagine anyone trying it on with the suppliers on our forum who are so generous to members. It is inconvenient purchasing even from within our own country it seems I have been buying things this way for such a long time IMHO the maker of Cactus Juice in the USA is a reliable honest man highly respectable and entitled to credit for his historic product.

Peter.
