In my opinion Tom is should not be a problem provided you use the thick Ca, if you use the thin then you might want to use a 9mm drill and see how it fits prior to gluing.

The main problem you will encounter using 23/64 and thin ca glue is a possible break out due to there not being enough glue between tube and blank. (Voids so to speak)

Hope this helps..
With the epoxy and painted tunes they need a little more room inside.

I also found the 9mm hole a bit tight, but put it down to an undersized drill bit. Glad to hear it wasn't just me. I've now ordered a 23/64 bit.

I dont use gorilla glue now adays as in my opinion it's too messy for fiddly tubes when it's expanded and come out of each end.

Gorilla glue is a genreall term that you can get all sorts of adhesives in now, from standard PVA to superglue,

But I would treat gorilla glue (the standard stuff) as epoxy and drill with 23/64. Just be aware that the glue will push the tubes out as it expands if you don't secure them in place.

Hope this helps.
