We'll was in shed doing a pen for someone so thought I would attempt an acrylic. Went ok I think thought it would have a bit more marbling than it does.

I have, as a newby to all this been trying to practice hollowing things (small scale) then thought what would happen if I mixed wood and an offcut of acrylic... PS I know what’s wrong with it but what the hell it was fun to learn on small bits of wood and off cuts... Kevin:banana:

Poplar Burr hybrid on an Alpha

I am looking at painting some tubes white to give a better background for resin blanks. What is the best type of paint to use and do you need to prime? I predominately use acrylic for model making and hope this would be good enough. Once painted is it OK to use CA glue to bond blank to tube?
