This is another of my multi tool pens, its nothing special however I do trade in antiques and offten find vintage tables and chairs with damage or of little value and the pen was made from blanks cut from a 120 year old oak table. Finished with CA glue as I find it very durable and it has a high...

    Carbide Tipped Tools

Thought I would have a try at making some tipped tools this is the first 3, I have tried them and they cut really well but are much more aggressive than my other tools after a few digs I have found I need to be more gentle when starting a cut. I am going to try and make some swan necks next.

    Pitch pine slimline pen

This slimline pen is dressed in xcut pitch pine. The blanks look like long grain but are in fact short grain. I cut several slices from the 3”x3”post, cut them into blanks then took two pieces from different slices & married them up in mirror image. I got enough for six pens with the grain in...

    Zebra I cross cut.

Hello all, It’s been awhile since I last posted a picture of one of My pens, so I thought I’d show this Omega FP dressed in cross cut Zebrano. I had to keep stopping to soak the blanks in thin ca to stop any possibility of explosion, it worked, this time, I got away with it. It is finished using...

    Still converting wood

Even though I had cut the logs down I needed to cut many into rounds which help free up space as I have some under a cover in the garden. Managed to now cut 68 into rounds and have 90% of it all under cover and even then still have some more. I will be glad when it is all done so that I can get...

    A couple of new ones.

I had an idea for a bit of decoration so went to the turning shed and selected the plainest Sycamore blank I could find. A few cuts later and it didn't look so plain after all! 10 1/2" x 3 1/2" Horse Chestnut. 8 1/2" x 4 3/4" finished in Danish oil. This was very punky and tore out with any...
