    Green, Black & White acrylic (Not assembled)

    Evening guys, Here I bring my newest addition to my pen line. This was turned today, Sanded back to 800 grit and then rubbed down with gold nyweb pad, Sealed with chestnut Sanding sealer and then finished with chestnut burnishing cream to a high sheen finish. Thoughts?

    TM Omega with Bocote.

    Also managed this one too. Sanded to 600 then sanding sealer, melamine finish and a coat of microcrystalline wax buffed with a soft cloth.

    Errrrr a little help or advice Please

    So When I finished this it was Ok but as the finish dried it has dried with small amounts of white now showing in the little inclusions. What is the best way to finish such wood so when it drys this does not happen... Kevin :banana:

    4th pen

    Sorry you must be bored of my updates. This is my 4th finished pen. For the first time I made no obvious mistakes and tried a different finish in boiled linseed and ca. Really proud of it. Any got any of there first pens to share and compare :)

    Today's joint effort

    Son struggled to turn the acrylic blank but still did quite a bit, however he did do all of the sanding and finish. He's also selected the blanks for tomorrow's shedding!!
