Burnt and stained
Just finished this vase, had a bit of seepage between colours when brushing on the sanding sealer, but I'm reasonably happy with it. I will use a spray on sealer when using stains in the future.- sammy

Zeta Hybrid in Opticast 100
This was just an experiment. I wanted to see what Opticast 100 was like to work with, without wasting too much, and without ruining my burl edge. So I made the smallest blank I could using 2 offcuts from previous pen blanks, and some Opticast with opaque red dye (didn't want to risk a 2 colour...- webby962

The Royal Pens.
We had a great day today at Blind Veterans UK Llandudno centre when I presented my pens to Sophie - Countess of Wessex. HRH talked to Evelyn then me when I presented the pens.
