Found a few blanks that our wm460 Mark sent me a few years ago so decided to give this Bohemia wood blank a turn.
Melamine finish.
Stunning OZ wood to turn and the grain is superb.. Thanks Mark..
A pair of teachers pens. I used Indian Ebony and green dyed wood for the ends. One has a London plain body and the other is what I believe is called diamond wood?? It was kindly sent to me by Mark (Flexi) when I first joined this forum:thumbs::thumbs:

Went to Belmont Woodfest and had a great couple of days managed to sell 15 things it may not sound a lot but it soon adds up in terms of the pennies. spoke to many woodturners and even Dave from penkitzandbitz and Mark AKA Flexi of this forum.

Can anyone help with a problem I have had off and on for a long time with labels? As you can see in the pic, there is a white mark at the end that happens with roughly half the label blanks I make. I then have to make another one and hope for the best. I print the label on an inkjet printer...
I have just completed a Filigree Pen. I am wondering if I am doing something wrong in that I had to push the mechanism in well past the mark. Is that correct or should I reduce the long tube.

The postie called yesterday with a parcelfrom flexi (our Mark Tassel). There were 12 .303,

The other wood is Bohemia from Mark that I have turned
Again, really nice to turn and finish.
Finished with EEE
A special thanks to Mark for sending them over
This weeks Pen of the Week was chosen by flexi (Mark). He has selected the Shakespeare Rollerball made by Bill Mooney.
Mark said "We all like Yew Bill ! A very nice piece of wood matched to a great kit. There were some very nice pens to choose from, including those from Johnny and Buckeye"...
This is a Vertex click pen in gunmetal. The blank is oak, from a Makers Mark whiskey barrel. This was commissioned by a friend of mine, for his friend who is a Makers Mark fan. This will be getting laser engraved. The finish is Watco Danish Oil.
Finally achieved it a double 303 with a proper tip which a kind forum member passed on to me.
Thanks for that Mark. Brass is only polished and has no sealer.
