We went to my Woodcraft Guild for a look. Pic of Mark and peter they have 9 Vicmarc Lathes etc. An extensive library. Huge Shed full of goodies. Then to the Labour Club for dinner.

Every year here we have Fathers Day in the first week of September and my birthday often coincides. Just got a Skype call from Mark and his wife they are coming to visit tomorrow so far they have travelled 2000 miles with 8 hours to go tomorrow. Looking forward to their visit.

Had some of these thought I could make some use of them, so sanded the wrighting off and cut in half turned a centre with two groves and glued in the stick halfs to made a flower need to make some modifications I think on Mark 2 but pleased with how it turned out
Boxing Day last year some friends came around for a BBQ, as it was pouring with rain most of the weekend, I spent most of the time in the metal work section of my shed and I started to make some window bullet pens,
Mark came around the other day and saw this and said "Wot you haven't finished...
Last for today, i used a nice piece of Amboyna for a fantastic pen kit .. Just to add that the bushings that came with these kits are the best i have ever seen or used, top marks for this Phil .. Not forgetting the Bock Nib that came with it .. :winking:
