Hiya Guys, A little artistic advice please. I've just ordered a couple of these, with the intention of turning a fountain pen / roller ball mistral set. My issue is all the choices of finish. I tend to like golds with red but i was wondering what you fine folk would go for? Many Thanks PoM

2 Mallee burr hybrid Mistral ballpoints to finish a commission, 1 blue and the other purple. First time using a new light tent, need to get a smaller prop for holding them in position and stop them rolling about!!!

A Mistral turned using M3 Mokume, I find this a fascinating material with a lot of depth, and of course the metallic shimmer. I think the space age quality of M3 works well with the traditional quality of the Mistral. Haven't seen much of it on the forum recently!
