The main body is...
Etesia pen kit.
No colour bleed with this one as I could sand the parts separately.

As in the intro thread - a friend showed me how to make pens which has led to an order for kit going in and a new part to my hobby for the future...

HI all, I like my bullet case pens, these are. 338 Lapua magnum the current Army long distance rifle caliber, fitted to Omega pen kits. I have done easier conversions, but hey you have to try everything once
Done these as a surprise prezzie for Mrs G this Christmas.
One is acrylic and the other is made from Padauk.
Mrs G loves cats so I have made her a cat twist pen from some acrylic I had from Axminster.
She is also suffering from arthritis in her hands that is getting progressively worse so I...
A little while ago I was gifted a Gold Bock no8 nib. I kept it to one side for a while as I wasn't sure I liked the idea of a nib that size, but a couple of weeks ago I decided to make myself a pen for it.
I made a slightly wider pen than I usually do, meaning 14mm cap threads (instead of my...
Anyone know what the minimum dimensions of a blank should be to enable it to turn fully a 7mm Slimline pen?
I have some 13mm x 13mm and the hole drilled seems awfully close to the edge. On that size can it only be used for 7mm pens?
Also what should the minimum dimensions be for an 8mm pen...
A bowl turner recently sent me a pile of his offcuts so I told him that I would make him a pen as a thank you.
He quickly informed me that he didnt like segmentation ( though he was probably talking about bowls )
Anyway here's his pen made with some of his cocobolo.
What is your absolute favourite pen kit of all time?
If all kits were ended tomorrow except one what would that kit be? it has to be a currently available kit and not one that ended production when William Shakespeare died.
The reason I am asking is to see if price governs our way of thinking...
Pen Kit - Bolt Action

Box - PSI rifle case.
Case is a new one for me but trying to see if I can add value to the BA pen kits at the local gun club.:idontknow:
Made one of my own inserts to suit the pen as didn't like the ones that...
We’ve just added these Silver Anniversary & Golden Anniversary round Alumilite pen blanks to our website, to go along with our Pearl Wedding & Ivory Wedding blanks. www.penblanksandmoulds.co.uk/artisan-pen-blanks
Following silver commenting on our native timbers and in particular his use of quarter sawn oak. also Bill Mooney 's cross cut oak pen, I thought that I would show a recent Omega dressed mostly in Elm burr .
Yep, every year on the first Friday in November, it’s International Fountain Pen Day, and has been since it was introduced in 2012. This year, the first Friday in November is the 5th, which happens to be today.
Who introduced it? I have absolutely no idea, but unlike some other tenuous attempts...
