Is there a better finish than melamine and microcrystalline wax for a wooden bottle stopper?
Any ideas other than finish the bottle and not use a bottle stopper. :winking:

Yew bowl turned today, decided to leave this one chunky. Finished with sander sealer and carnauba wax buffed on the Chestnut buffing system.
Measures 10 1/2" X 3"
Here's a TM Omega in Gold with African Blackwood finished with Melamine and Carnauba Wax
and here's a Beaufort Sirocco in Black with an unknown wood finished with Melamine and Carnauba Wax.

Finally back in shed! Managed to turn this fancy slimline pen, finished with a melamine and microcrystalline wax.
Quite happy with my efforts and this and the acrylic pencil is heading south for Sunday! !!
