I was at lidl today and they still had quite a few of the scroll saws in at £59.99 I can't remember if that is the original price or not. I was very tempted, but as there were quite a few I thought I would sleep on it overnight. Still don't have any space for one.

For Lidl tools, it's a good idea to check and see if there is a shop called bargain base, in your area.
Bargain base is basically Lidl's clearance store. Aldi tend to reduce the price instore, on unsold special offer items, Lidl don't.
All of their unsold stock is sent to Bargain base shops and sold at a pittance.
The Parkside airbrush and compressor I bought a few years ago, does what I need and was reasonable at about 40 quid.
The same thing was in Bargain base recently for a tenner!

Good heads up Neil handy to have the knowledge. I have three Aldi stores two five minutes away and one ten minutes away there are others in our city. Reports this week say they are kicking Coles and Woolworths to working much harder for their customers breaking the cartel that existed.

It seems to be in York and Scotland, not down south.

My local lidl still has 6 of them and they won't reduce the price.

Maybe Aldi would.. having said that they didn't knock anything off for me.

But if you tell them you are a moderator a pen forum they will knock a few bob off for ya..

Are you on powerful meds?
