Thanks fellas, no tripod so camera (shaky) hand held, have taken a dozen 'photo's of it but none better than that.
Pen turned out a beauty so I'll be using C.A. on it's own again.

Only difference I find is it is easier using BLO . On the occasions that I have used CA alone I invariably get the tissue stuck to the blank (disaster) but that may be my fault alone and not due to the absence of the oil...funnily enough I did it to day :rolling:

Tissue is no use as it soaks into the paper, i use Grease proof paper, the CA stays on top of the paper so you will not use as much, and it goes on with a smoother better coverage. hope this helps Ed. Regards Steve.

I agree Steve CA does soak in the tissue too quickly, a drop of BLO seems to prevent this happening but will try the grease proof like you suggest, although I'm trying other methods and steering away from CA all together:thumbs:
