Don't let it worry you Woody blame it on fat fingers as the L and N are guite close on the keyboard. You must be getting stressed out doing all these pens. Calm down and relax and why not go for a good wank . Sorry I meant walk.

My answer to CA fumes and that very fine dust from above the lathe under the blank another system. I turn the top unit off when doing plastics, picks the ribbons up. The fan unit is a second hand air con in line fan, low wattage heaps of ait through the roof to atmosphere.

Not all brands of CA is equal. Additives makes a large difference. There are a good 6 or so chemicals that can be used to create 'CA'.

Fumes from CA will cause allergy and flu like symptoms with exposure. it is not a question of if but a question of when. The only solution is to switch to odorless immediately. Odorless tends to be more expensive.

As for a good applicator try using the clear plastic bags the pen parts comes in, CA will not stick to that and it's a smooth surface.

Thanks for your explanations Ed, didnt realze that Odorless CA was better for you, thought they only masked the dangerous stuff.

Of course not I only bought it to look at Tom. The lathe was being installed at that time I had the fan up in the air much like the room fans, decided to duct it down to the lathe. Heaps of other mods since then. Love that lathe it is the VL150 Vicmarc a joy to behold and use.
