I was at the motor home and caravan show today and there was a stand selling CT1 sealant and construction adhesive. Has anyone had any experience in using this? There's no doubting the quality of this product but I was wondering if it would make a good segmenting adhesive :nooidea:

Titebond 2 is the best for segmenting

My OH has used it extensively, he says it is very thick (thicker viscosity than silicone) and in his opinion it is mainly for outside applications, he used it to stick flashing to a roof and repaired leaks with it.

It is great stuff but not sure how it would work in segmenting, he says :winking: Hope this helps

Do I detect a slight dislike of caravans :[emoji13]

There is nothing wrong with caravans, especially when they are on a site or top gear:whistling:

Less of the slight please Ray, why anyone would look forward to spending two weeks of your hard earned holiday in an enlarged plywood coffin with poor ventilation and inadequate cooking facilities is somewhat beyond me, but I do appreciate that others do find it enjoyable, but why still beats me.

Ignore them Ray :nonono:
Was the show any good "Her Indoors and I are going tomorrow"

It's alright Chas, just some banter makes me laugh

Yes Chas, it was a good show. Some great new vans from Coachman especially a new island bed design and the caravan of the future in hall 12 is something to see  Enjoy, we always find it a good day out even if we're not looking to buy a new van

sooooooooooooooo, you were partly to blame for the fact that my normal 10 minute commute home past the NEC took 45 bloody minutes tonight :rant::rant:

Goes to show a lot of people who have caravans can't bloody drive even without the things attached.

:vangry:

No "slight" dislike here, comes from having to spend 30 weekends a year, every year, in one when I was a kid as Mum and Dad were caravan mafiosi :funny::funny:

But it hasn't affected me at all

No, a near homicidal hatred of the bloody things. Why would anyone want to live in a mobile shed when hotels have been invented?

A holiday in a caravan appeals as much as a night's sleep on a bed of nails. And yes I have tried it, never again, I would rather cut my own ears off with a spoon.

And there should be a separate road system for them (and cyclists), and it should be on the planet Jupiter. :nonono:

And if that wasn't enough, diddicoys live in them. :ave_it:

I'll make sure we come back to Northumberland for a 2 week holiday and just drive around with the van for no reason :face::ave_it::funny:
