My browser kept crashing every time I logged on to the forums and started really dragging it heels changing pages.
I have done some experimenting and Jim what ever have you got running in the background???

IE sees extra long scripts to load and takes so long to load the scripts it freezes.
Mozilla, Google Chrome and Chromium refuse to open the redirect that this script points too.

I have not tried any other browsers but have tried Linux, Unix, and win 7 & 8 with all the crap they give by default.
fresh install of each at home and at work.

I am used to not watching vids and not seeing links and pics half the time due to using basic unix with no flash or java scripts enabled.

Is anyone else having problems or is it my IP?

Are you aware of any issues Jim?

IE 11 in win 8.1 is falling down big time to the point where I have to reboot after being in here, and that is fresh on today with all latest updates.

I have always had problems but thats because I've got the extra slow broadband and have only just recently increased from 1/2mb to 2Mb. For me it seems to fly but not the forum unfortunately and sometimes takes minutes in between pages. I think there is a problem sometimes when I'm typing in a thread and someone else does at the same time. I also get messages to 'stop script' but have changed to using google chrome and while that is much faster than Internet Explorer, its still slow. I'm at my daughters at the moment and she has 50mb and it still isn't as fast as I'd expect.

Please look into it Jim I think it is some sort of keystroke logger I have just had pinged back to me.

I am at work at the moment so cannot do much more from here.

Not any more, too expensive. Am now with Utility Warehouse, had to really as the wifes one of their distributors, but its £6.99 month, unlimited download, speed dependent on the BT network capability.

I'm on the forum with my dekstop as usual, my connection speed is roughly 50mbps download and 12mbps upload and I use Chrome...the forum is a tiny bit slow but nothing that I would say is an issue.

Then don't update to IE 11 it really is bad.
I still have issues with Firefox at home, trying it now.
