Maybe I made a confusion between oblique nib and oblique dip pen, as Pierre (the other Pierre) kindly made me aware of. Here is what he wrote:
There is a difference between a left handed italic pen such as you described and an 'oblique calligraphy' pen. The one that you described is an italic nib angled for left handers (and also sometimes for right handers ie sometime there is a light angle cut for right handers) Link.
However, an oblique calligraphy pen is something else and is used mainly for copperplate writing
