Walter Hall RIP

I've only just seen this and am shocked tbh. I knew he'd been ill but not THAT ill. I knew Walter also from the York get togethers but also sometimes bumped into him at Harrogate and I'd been to his house a few years ago. Had I known I'd have gone to his funeral. I drove past the end of his street only a couple of weeks ago and if I'd had time would have knocked, it's just as well I didn't.

He will very definitely be sorely missed

Neil has just let me know that Walter's funeral is on Tuesday 27th so I should be able to make that.

I did not know Walter but as the fellow members have spoken about him he will be a big miss to all

Back in York now after my friend Walter's funeral in Northumberland yesterday.
Donations in leu of flowers from the just giving site and Crematorium collection presently stand at £305 for the British Heart Foundation.
