Been out in my workshop and I just cant muster up the energy or enthusiasm to do anything yet there is so much I want to do so I'm having a day off

I know how you feel Woody, i find it hard to motivate myself lately and i have to push myself to get out there ... Like today, once in there i am fine. No turning but plenty of little jobs done. I have a few orders to make so will be starting on them tomorrow ...

Well after yesterdays day off O went out to my workshop with renewed vigour today stuck an 8" x 3" oak bowl blank on the lathe that Phill gave me a few months ago and I'm back in the driving seat enjoying my self normally I hate turning Oak but for some strange reason I'm enjoying turning this bit maybe because it is a design I got fixed in my head before Christmas and am eventually doing it I am waiting for the spray to dry on the outside so I have come in for a cuppa then do the inside then I will remove the foot and finish it

Had a really hectic weekend, well last 4 days to be honest :phew::phew:

Finally got on with a commission for 2 bedside tables, I've just finished sanding the last one, hung 6 doors, fetched a load of Walnut, bought 1/2 an Olive Ash tree & managed to take my lads to see the latest hobbit film at the cinema.:sleeping:

Don't know about starting back to work tomorrow, it feels like I never stopped :monkon::monkon:

I have had a very lethargic day today relaxing with the Grandkids, i haven't ventured out of the house and to be honest had the kids not been here i doubt that anything would have been any different ... :rolling:
