This was difficult to turn, i messed up when truing up the ends a bit off made the whole mandrel wobble a bit when I tightened up the mandrel. So I had to fiddle around to get it to align with the bushings properly (I really need a new lathe).

Been too hot in the shed for turning so I have started to make a few blanks. Will start to throw a bit of wood into the mix on the next few castings.
The blanks in the video are made with Opti cast 100 resin, Alumilite and pearlx colours.

I was drilling a 4.2mm hole, 25mm deep in to a piece of 100 x 100 x 10mm aluminium, I had just finished the last hole, when I just put the drill in to clear any the swarf is out and the bloody drill snapped just below the surface:vangry:
