Hi all. I'm about to have my first try at casting some PR blanks. I read on here (I think it was Brad) said that with PR you don't have to use a pressure pot / vacuum chamber. So as this sounds an easier option to start with I'm going to try PR first. Apparently warmth helps with air release...

I apologise if this has already been asked loads of times, but what Is needed for casting labels on tube in blanks ? Obviously a mold of some sort with the bungs, but what labels are used and can both Epoxy and polyester be used ? I’ve done a google and YouTube search there are lots of how...

A simple straight slimline Pen dressed in white corian. This will be part of a desk set hence no clip.

Hi all, here is a stainless steel fountain pen made with a stabilised pine cone cast in resin. Casting was done by Scott Walker....AKA Mr Resin.....strangely it smelt of Gin whilst turning.

2 TM Omegas, Bocote wood and Irish Yew.

A simple slimline pen made using the festival wood blank from Axminster, these always look better in the flesh and it has a CA finish.

Ok, so I've decided to have a go at clear casting the music pen (see thread on pen forum) So I need a clear resin casting kit? Any recommendations? I only need a small amount, probably 500ml max. The cheapest seem to be on eBay, but I'm guessing you get what you pay for? I will be going...

I've got a 50th birthday coming up for a friend, he's a musician, saxophonist. Does anyone know of any music blanks, or kits I can buy? Ideally would like a nice blank with notes that I could make a slimline from. I've seen the music kit on Axminster, but it doesn't look that attractive.

I have been making a lot of bullet pens, which means I use slimline kits, well most of the kit parts, I now have a load of nibs and centre bands, and im bu**ered if i can find a use for them, so if anyone is in need of nibs and or centre bands from slimline kits, please feel free to drop me a pm...

Two timber slimline pens. The first is in oak. The second in unknown timber.

Well I have now received all my deliveries so will be casting my first blanks at the weekend! Fingers crossed it goes ok.
